For sometime now, people have been asking me to write a blog post about what I eat on a daily basis or to show them a peek inside my life for a day. I am one of those people that do not agree with the "health standards" that Americans seem to live by. I do not agree with "fat free" or "low fat" anything. If it is labeled that.. we don't buy it or use it. I rarely eat processed foods, but I don't deprive myself! So below I will explain what I eat on a daily basis, along with some photos! If you follow me on instagram, you will see daily posts about food and all sorts of fun stuff (plus pictures of my sweet little boy!) Please take note that I am currently breastfeeding, so I eat more than "normal" at this point. I also drink as much water as possible. :) Breakfast![]() Smoothie Bowl! For the base its strawberries & blueberries with full fat homemade yogurt. Topped with banana, almonds, chia seeds, and flaxseeds! All organic of course! -Smoothie bowls are a great way to enjoy smoothies with a taste of some superfoods such as chia seeds, flaxseeds, hemp hearts, etc. Snack![]() Fenugreek bar from Mrs Patel's. I eat these to help boost my milk supply. Also some fresh raspberries and some homemade apple cider. Lunch![]() Pasture raised chicken over a large bed of greens. In this salad I also have some munch crunch, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. I do not usually do dressings, just a personal preference because I like to taste the food I'm eating. Dinner![]() Chipotle Stuffed Sweet Potatoes! For some people who follow the paleo, gluten free, dairy free type of diet these are amazing! They were filling and tasty! Sweet potatoes give me energy but I don't have a crash like I would with normal white potatoes. In the mixture here is also some pasture raised chicken, organic kale, organic shaved brussle sprouts, and homemade salsa. Click the link above for the recipe. Midnight-pumping session snack/meal![]() I actually take all of these products shown. In the morning I add solstic energy to my first bottle of water. It is full of b vitamins and is safe for a nursing mom. For my midnight snack/meal I often will have a love & peas protein shake. It is gluten free, dairy free, allergen free, and 100% vegan. It is a great way to add some extra protein ! Super Supplemental is my favorite supplement! It is full of vitamins and minerals but also is coated in chlorophyll! |
