Cauliflower is in season right now in the Great State of Michigan-- but so is seasonal allergies! Beat all that Post Nasal Drip, runny noses, and watery eyes with this great recipe! I have used it myself and found that it works well!
What you need:
1 Head of Organic Cauliflower Chopped
1 Tsp Curry Powder
1 Tsp Turmeric
3 Carrots Chopped
optional- Fresh Parsley
1/4 Onion Diced
2 Cloves Garlic Diced
Chop up the cauliflower & carrots
Put them in the steamer and steam so they are just slightly soft but not mushy
Add some curry
If you are going to make the optional onions and garlic to serve with it (super antioxidants and antibiotic properties) follow this:
1 Tbsp of coconut oil in a frying pan (melt it)
Add onions and garlic
Sautee until fragrant
On a plate put garlic/onion mixture and veggies
Top with some sea salt and pepper and enjoy!
