Starting October 14th I started doing burpees everyday and the 4 minute circuit workout. I went from about 10 burpees a day to 60 a day. They are not easy- they break you down mentally and physically! This is my toning and weight loss since October 14th, 2012. The day I started I weighed myself in at 169.6. Today at the doctor's I was weighed and was at 157! I don't see a huge difference, my clothes don't fit too differently. I am building muscle though! And.... yes! Even health coaches gain some weight from time to time!
This goes to show- anyone can do it! I have back and neck injuries- I am doing my very best to get this butt into shape. Losing some pounds or rather- losing some fat would be good! Toning up that muscle and getting into great shape- Anyways- I wanna be a trophy wife :)
Sooo who loves soup? ME! I mean, I love soup and it is really cheap to have around when you don't have a lot of money coming in! Here is my recipe for fridgy soup!
This soup can be made Vegan or Vegetarian. If you plan on making it Vegan- then don't add Chicken Stock- replace the Chicken Stock with Vegetable Stock.
A lot of people don't know this, but soup is a great way to cut calories and lose weight. This also provides your body with much needed nutrients to give you energy to get on with your day! Enjoy this recipe. The last 3 ingredients, you get to switch up and add any fruit or veggie to it- yes I said fruit! Sometimes fruit is good in soup!! <3
2 Large or 3 Medium Carrots Cubed
1/2 Large Onion diced
1 Cup Cauliflower Chopped
1 Large Sweet Potato Cubed
2 Green Peppers Diced
2 Cups Water
2 Cups Vegetable Broth
2 Cups of Chicken Stock (or another 2 of veggie broth)
(some left over veggies from the week)
1/2 Cup Corn
1 Cup Northern Beans
1/4 Cup Green Beans (Steamed)
What to do:
1) Chop all veggies
2) Pour all veggies into the pot
3) Cook on high heat for 3 minutes
4) Add Water and broths
5) Add your favorite Spices- (I added country herbs, garlic powder, cumin, and curry powder)
6) Put on Med-Low heat
7) Cook about 1 hour- covered

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that a healthy cookbook is in the works by Healthy by Choice! I will have all of my healthy recipes in one place! It will be a while until it is done, but I wanted to give everyone a head's up! It there is any type of recipe you would like me to have in the cookbook- please let me know! I will make some classic recipes healthier- sooo the healthy version of things! I am thinking about making it into an ebook but we will see!

What you need:
- 1 cup acorn squash
- 1/3 Cup almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1 Cup whole wheat Flour
- 1 Cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 3/4 Cup Honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp all spice
What you do:
- put oatmeal and spices in food processor
-process on high until oatmeal becomes flour like
- transfer to a bowl
- put squash, egg, almond butter, honey, and almond milk in food processor
- process until it is smooth
- transfer to bowl
- mix wet and dry ingredients
- put in 12 count greased muffin pan
- put in 350 preheated oven
- bake for 40 minutes
take out and enjoy with some pumpkin cream cheese or butter or just plain!
