Holistic Treatment: How we treat hypoglycemia holistically is to eat 4-5 small meals a day and 1 serving of caffine a day- such as one cup of coffee or tea. I recommend that you stay away from processed foods. Eliminate instant foods from your diet like instant rice and instant potatoes. Do your best to keep alcohol to a minimum as well, the occasional drink is just fine. Don't skip meals! Even if you are trying to lose weight- do not skip a meal. This is a very important part of caring for yourself. Also try to not eat late at night, set a time for yourself to end eating for the night. A common time is between 6 and 8pm. Include protein in your lunch and dinner. Add a glass of milk or chicken to your lunch or dinner.
