1 handfull of raw almonds
1/2 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt
1 TBSP wheat germ
1/2 Cup Fresh Raspberries
1/2 Apple- chopped (you can leave the skin on it provides a great fiber)
1 Cup of Ice
10 cherries (pitted)
Blend all ingredients until smooth
Raw almonds are a great source of fiber, protien, and omega 3's- very good for your heart. Greek yogurt is full of protien. Wheat germ is very good for your digestion and overall health. Raspberries, apples, and cherries -when fresh- are known to be energizing fruits. The ice will give you hydration which is essential to staying alert and awake. This is also a great smoothie for your complexion. I would drink this about an hour before a hard workout.
