One of my favorite treats is chocolate! When I was attending University I used to go to the vending machine and get peanut butter cups all the time- unfortunately it lead to me gaining a lot of weight!
I have learned over time & while in Nurtition School how to make unhealthy tasting foods & treats actually be HEALTHY!
Here is my recipe for Fudgy Chocolate Cups!
-Use organic & natural products whenever possible-
1 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup nut butter (I usually use almond but any nut or seed butter would do)
1/2 cup cacao
Opt - dried coconut, nuts
First put your coconut oil, nut butter, and honey in the pan on low to melt
Stir occasionally until it is all melted
Mix well and you will have a chocolatly looking mix
Pour into cups into muffin cups! I usually fill them a quarter of the way full! Yum! You can even add some toasted nuts or coconut on top! Put them in the refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes and they will set up! Enjoy
