I posted a recipe for this a long time ago, there are all different types for this, but this is my favorite:
Whole Rolled Oats (old fashioned)
1/2 Cup Walnuts
1/2 Cup Pecans
1/2 Cup Almonds
*organic wheat chex cereal
What to do:
1-Take 3 Cups of whole oats, pecans, almonds, and walnuts and put it in the food processor, blend on high for a about 30 seconds.
2- In a sauce pan put 1/3 Cup of honey and 1/2 Cup of molasses, and vanilla bring to a foaming boil
3- Add 1 Cup of whole oats to the mix from the food processor
4- Mix the wet and dry ingredients really well
5- Preheat Oven to 275
6- Line a 9 x 13 cake pan with parchment paper
7- Put the mixture onto the paper and press down hard to be sure everything is stuck together well.
8- Cook for about 60 minutes
9- Let cool
10- Once cool, crumble for granola cereal and cut in bars for granola bars.
