As soon as I started nursing-- I made some lactation cookies that I found on pinterest. They helped keep my supply going but I kinda got tired of cookies pretty quick.
I started thinking about which foods are great for a nursing & recovering mama & came up with lactation bites. I made them and overnight I had tons of milk! Leaking and what not! I had to pump a bit before I fed my son (he is still learning to nurse) because so much milk was coming out!!

1 1/2 Cup Organic Dates (Pitted)
1/4 Cup Organic Dried Prunes
1/4 Cup Dried Fruit (I used cherries)
1/2 Cup Organic Raw Almonds
1/2 Cup Organic Whole Oats (Make sure they are gluten free & aren't tainted with wheat)
3 Tbsp Brewer's Yeast
1-2 tsp flaxseed (opt)
1/2 Tsp Ground Cinnamon (opt)
1 Tbsp Raw Honey
