Today I made popcorn on the stove for the first, second, and third time haha! The first time for my husband and I and the second & third for his friend! Eating microwaved popcorn is terrible for you! I will post on that later! But here is a step by step instruction on how to make one bowl of popcorn to share!
What you need
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
Lid to sauce pan
First put the coconut oil in the pan
Second heat the coconut oil in the pan with a few kernels in it. When these pop you will know it's hot enough to add the rest of the kernels.
Now add 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels
And wait... This would be a good time to put the lid on or you will have a mess!
In about 5 minutes you will have a full sauce pan of popcorn
Pour into a bowl and you're all done!!
I like to take 1 tbsp of grass fed butter and 1 tbsp of coconut oil and melt it together and drizzle it across the top of the popcorn. I also added a little bit of pink Himalayan sea salt! It was amazing!
