I was craving something kinda sweet at the end of the night and didn't want to give in and go to the store and buy something that is full of terrible ingredients. So I started thinking then made this awesome recipe that I will most likely be making again!
-1 Cup Organic Plain Yogurt (I used Simple Truth Organic Yogurt)
-1/2 Cup Organic Raw Chia Seeds
-5 TBSP Cacao Powder
-2 TBSP Raw, Local Honey
What you do:
-In a bowl or container, combine ingredients.
-Stir for until everything is mixed through
-Let sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes (this is because the chai seeds will absorb some of the yogurt and it will be amazing!)
Why is this good for you??
First off, yogurt is great for you with the probiotics and all. Then add in the raw cacao powder that is full of antioxidants- just look up any bo0k by David Wolfe (cacao is amazing!!). Then add in the chia seeds- they are high in Omega 3, it promotes weight loss, and is amazing when it comes to the fiber that it adds to your body!
