This is yummy! This normally is full of rice & cream, but I thought I would make a paleo version for my grain free, dairy free friends. My husband even approved.
1 1/2 Cups dark turkey or chicken meat (i used 2 turkey necks) cooked and shredded.
2 cups shredded cabbage
3 kale leafs chopped
1/2 onion chopped
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp cilantro
1 tsp hot hungarian paprika
1 tsp chili powder
1 cup almond milk
In olive or coconut oil, sautée onions.
While sautéing the onions, chop up your veggies
Put the tomato & garlic in a blender or food processor
Blend and you get this!
Add in cabbage sautée a few minutes
Add in kale & some ghee for extra flavor
Add spices and mix well
Add in meat and mix around
Add in tomato mixture
Add in almond milk. Let simmer for about 5-10 minutes
Ladle into a bowl and enjoy !
