Quinoa is one of the most amazing foods ever! It is an ancient grain that is full of protein and fiber. Also in Michigan, it is time for Pumpkin EVERYTHING! So this is a yummy breakfast or treat! Here is a yummy recipe!
What you need:
3/4 Cup Dry Quinoa (I mix red and plain together)
1 1/2 Cup Water
(Cook the quinoa until water is absorbed)
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/8-1/4 tsp of each (ginger, nutmeg, & cloves)
2 Tbsp Honey
1/2 Cup Organic Pumpkin
-When you cook quinoa you cook it in a 1:2 ratio
-In a sauce pan, combine pumpkin, spices, and honey
-Once the quinoa is done cooking, add it to the sauce pan with the pumpkin.
