Am I getting a little too bold? Yummy no-bakes without added sugar? Is it possible? Oh you better believe it! These are my favorite treat to make and I love the fact that they are healthy! I have tweaked the recipe a few times to make them even healthier than the first time I made them! I make different varieties of these depending on my mood that day! Sometimes I don't add cacao, sometimes I add a scoop of protein powder, add chia seeds, add flaxseeds, etc. Here is the main recipe!
Remember use organic when possible!
3/4 Cup Coconut Oil
1 Cup Nut Butter*
1/2 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Raw Cacao**
1/4 Cup Raw Cacao Nibs**
1/3 Cup Organic Dried Coconut (no sweeteners added)
2 Cups of Organic Gluten Free Oats
-Melt the coconut oil, nut butter, and honey together until they are mixed thoroughly.
-Add the cacao
-Add the coconut and oats and mix well
-I like to put mine in muffin tins! I think they are easy to grab and take with you if you are in a hurry. This recipe made about 16 muffin cups!
* You can use any nut butter, but I prefer one ingredient almond or peanut butter.
**If you don't have or can't find cacao- use the dairy free, nut free chocolate chips. The kind I use you can find here.
